Hackathons

Each year, we organize thematic hackathons to allow colleagues from different departments to exchange ideas, collaborate, and most importantly, implement their visions. This is how one of our products, the employee portal My Assistant, was created, along with several other solutions that will be published soon.

Knowledge sharing

Visma has a very popular exchange of experience both between different companies and their departments, and internally within each individual organization. For example, Jumis developers often organize training sessions for other colleagues, host masterclasses, and small competitions. This helps us better understand each other's work specifics and get inspired with ideas for completing our own tasks.

Coding Challenges

We not only love tech, but also fun! One of our challenges is "Will Code For Beer". In it, we gather in teams to solve entertaining programming problems in a five-hour friendly competition. It's a fantastic opportunity to test your coding skills, have a great time with colleagues, and strive to solve as many challenges as possible – all while, of course, enjoying delicious beer. This is a wonderful event that once again confirms our love for fun, collaboration, and technology.
